THE EDIBLE COUNTRY GARDEN - by Sara Johnson

THE EDIBLE COUNTRY GARDEN
by Sara Johnson

With the recent 'grow your own' resurgence and long waiting lists for allotments, I have embarked on a redesign of my own garden to include more productive planting.

My existing vegetable plot is situated at the end of the garden with espaliered fruit trees as a dividing screen.

However, I would now like to grow more soft fruit as well as asparagus. Initially, I was reluctant to give up any more space to growing food, but I've now resolved to grow this produce in a decorative way, incorporating it into the existing aesthetic style of a modern country garden.

Watch this blog to see how the project progresses.
